The following set of detailed instructions describe the steps to add and remove items from WatchList.
- From the module's menu (usually located at the top left/right corner of the module) select Settings menu item
- In the module Settings screen, expand the Big Brother Settings section to start configuring Big Brother
- Add Monitoring Events to Watch List:
- Select from a list of available "Portals" to add to monitoring watch list. TIP: The number of portals available in the list depends on the role of the current user (i.e if the user is a SuperUser he/she will be able to see all Portals within the DotNetNuke instance)
- Select from the list of available "Event Types" to add to monitoring watch list: TIP: the number of event types available in the list depends on the role of the current user (i.e if the user is a SuperUser he/she will be able to choose from up to 13 different event type where as a normal user may only see up to 7 event types)
- Select the number of "Records" and "Period" to display.
- Check the "Is Expanded" option to indicate the watch event to be expanded when displayed in the main control panel
- Click on "Add to Watch List" link button to add to list of monitoring event.
- It is possible to add as many watch list items as possible to the control panel.
- Remove Monitoriing Event from WatchList:
- In the WatchList list, click on the Delete icon button to remove the item from the WatchList
- Positioning WatchList item in the control panel
- In the WatchList list, click on the Up Arrow icon button to move the selected WatchList item 1 position up the list
- In the WatchList list, click on the Down Arrow icon button to move the selected WatchList item 1 position down the list
- Click on Update link buttons to apply changes
